Awsome place had fun in the foam party on Australia Day ! Didn't know there was a up stairs club aswell that was also awsome! A friend of mine had been asked to drink water from security but on doing so there was no water provided at the bar ? In the end it was provided. Great fun night !
I love The Court, but oh my god I'm getting sick of trying to be ripped off! It's been a thing for a while for staff to try and upgrade to "top shelf for only an extra dollar!" it gets really annoying after a while, but I get that they've been told to say it. What I don't like is for the bartender to automatically give me the more expensive stuff without even for it asking, or asking me! I should of realised when she made my drink away from me, so I didn't even see what bottle she was using. Last night this happened to me, and I wasn't having it. The girl gave me attitude when I mentioned it, but I stood my ground and waited while she had to get someone to fix it! No matter how drunk I am, I'll always know exactly how much I should be given back. Don't try to take advantage of drunk people, it's not a good look.
The Court is a Perth Icon and a must do for any visiting internationals. There is a clubroom for every music taste on the weekend evenings. The restaurant food is good quality but the portion sizes are small. Pizza chef goes till late.
Who misses when the court was actually a place for gay people? This place is aesthetically stunning with the new renovations, but I miss the way it used to be. It used to have a much more prominent gay audience and provide a real sense of community. Now its a trashy hangout for degenerate straights. What an absolute shame.
Worst service Ive ever received. The lady at the bar serving down stairs to the left kept deliberately ignoring me whilst making eye contact. She continued to serve two other males/females who were behind me. I waited at least 10 minuets until my friend stepped in to order our drinks and only then she acknowledge us. She just quickly threw our drinks together and chucked the straws on the bench which landed on the sticky bar top. Im disappointed as this is one of my favourite clubs to come to.
