A terrible vet and company - I only came in for some vaccinations on a deal with a pet supplier for both my pets, and ended up being messed around repeatedly. The vet I saw not only charged me fees without consent, threw a heap of conflicting information at me but then jabbed my pet with anti inflammatories without consent or explanation and charged me for the privilege. While one pet couldn't be vaccinated that day as she wasn't well, the vet had no idea what was wrong and rattled off a list of possibilities and then made me pay for an injection she did without explaining what it was to treat and did not seek consent. She then refused to vaccinate the other so as to extract unnecessary fees from me and then disappeared at billing time so I couldn't even discuss the unknown fees. I complained to head office state manager (I think) who called me immediately however then did not call me back to follow up as promised, instead getting the clinic manager who negotiated with me but then when I returned yet again to resolve the issues I discovered that the previous vaccination had been done incorrectly and they delivered the wrong/lesser vaccination (I asked for F5 and got F3) which meant I would have to return and do an extra round of vaccinations to cover the pets properly, of course costing even more. While the second vet I saw (I refused to go back to the first) Kirralee was wonderful and explained the mistakes and tried to have them resolved, the manager/owner refused to sort it out and the numerous issues with the original charging and lack of consent were not addressed. While I used to attend a great Greencross vet interstate years ago, I can see now that the company has changed and it's all about ripping off customers and charging them without consent as well as extracting extra fees and then surprising you with the bill. If I had known what on earth the treatments were for or had any trust in the vet's technical skills then I might not have complained but if you can't even trust that, then why go there at all when there's loads of great vets around. Shocking. I'm going to travel further to local vets who know what they're doing and don't rip you off, at least then the pet is treated as they should be without unnecessary suffering and confidence the clinical treatment is appropriate. An appalling comany that has been widely criticised for ripping people off without regard for a pet's needs, just google it and you'll see.
Staff are incredibly friendly but don't be fooled. Won't honour their own over the phone quotes. Constantly trying to up sell you treatments your pet doesn't even need. Stay away.
We recently finished puppy school at Greencross Vets Bedford and Megan was our trainer. She was fantastic. She was really friendly, very knowledgeable, and more than willing to stay back after class and answer individual questions. She has the best personality for puppy school and all the pups loved her! I would definitely recommend this class.
Dr Hannah is a wonderful Vet & cares for the health of your animal like its her own. I would have no hesitation in recommending this vet clinic to any of my friends or family. Thank you for all that you have done for me and my little Mort. We are beyond grateful.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Got our little man super confident to play with the bigger dogs and provided some great tips which we'll be able to implement long term. Megan the puppy trainer was always ready to help and stayed back after class if we had any additonal questions. Would recommend to others.
