A classic case of "Don't judge a book by its cover'. I had driven past Jessie's probably twice a week for several years. The decor/furniture dont look great but oh my the food is something else. A vegetarian curry that is anything but bland. Lamb Murtabak that reminded me of living in Little India, Singapore. And the prices are from 1972!! Possibly to match the decor!!!!!!Authentic Malay Food done very well.

String hoppers with dahl for weekend breakfast are amazing. And the murtabak is great, hard to find anything bad about about Jessie's. Just awesome.
This place is the very definition of cheap and cheerful. Very tasty Malaysian and Indian cuisine. Very flavourful and well spiced. Great prices and generous servings, especially the amount of meat. We got three large dishes and there was more than enough for three people with leftovers. Helpful and friendly staff who are happy to explain the dishes. I definitely recommend Jessie's Kitchen.
If you want a cosy home cooked meal, check out Jessie's. Malaysian Indian food with lots of vegetarian options to choose from. It's nice to see so many people greeting the staff, a following of regulars is always a good sign!
